Great gun. quiet powerful and accurate. from a 12 year olds view.
i bought this gun because have a gamo recon and it is great. the only thing i do not like about it is that it has no open sghts at all. so i started looking around and saw this.i am a big squirrel, rabbit, and dove hunter and i am 12. i likes that it had the sound dampener and sghts so i bought it. when i recieved it, the gun was packaged good and there was nothing wrong with it. i took it out of the box and shot a few .177 PBA pellets throught it and it was very accurate. i had some doubts about this gun but they were soon gone after killed 3 squirrels and a rabbit with this gun only using the sights. i didnt even bother putting the scope on because everyone says it is not good and that is how the scope was on my recon. so i didnt bother with it. it is suprsingly accurate and powerful for the price.for just under 100 dollars ths gun is AMAZING. it is my favorite air rifle and i also have a gamo shadow express shotgun, benjamin trail np XL, crosman storm XT, a gamo recon, and a...

Gamo recon Whisper Air Rifle .177
I just bought my rifle this weekend. Took it home from the store and used it in the back yard on a steel target. It's was simple and easy to use. Did not put the scope on until today and have yet to fine tune it. The gun is very accurate even without the scope, just using the sight. It's feels very solid and comfortable. For around a $100 I really don't think you can go wrong with this rifle. It' packs a good punch also at 750 fps.

Light weight, respectable power & looks cool.
I wish Gamo would have used a gas piston, instead of a spring piston for quieter shots. The noise dampener helps a little, compared to a basic air rifle. People complain about the scope, but if you take the time to sight it properly, w/ a comfortable distant from your eye, it'll do the job. All in all a GREAT air rifle for the price.
