If even a small tear occurred with a standard reflective material, there is little resistance to the propagation of the tear across the entire length of the sleeping bag. A sleeping bag with a big tear does not do much to retain heat. Our NEW sleeping bag uses a layer of aluminumized PVC bonded to a layer of thin non woven nylon fibers. The sleeping bag remains very thin and lightweight, but more resistant to punctures and more importantly, the propagation of tears. The seams are reinforced with the same multilayer material for added strength. Standard reflective sleeping bags use only tape on the seams. (2) Heat Absorption. Standard reflective sleeping bags are reflective on both sides. While the standard reflective bag reflects heat from the body back towards the body, the outside is also reflective and reflects heat from the sun away from the body too. Our multilayer sleeping bag will absorb more heat from the environment rather than reflecting it away. (3) Visibility. The orange outer layer is visible from long distances and contracts with snow and trees.

Wanna stay warm? Get one of these bags! Used mine during a hunting trip when the weather changed drastic, and extreme. My normal bag that I carried with me just wasn't working, the temp went down to 21 degrees. I got this out of my pack, slipped it inside my normal bag. Felt toasty and warm all night. At morning first light, the temp was 12, and windy, it felt like I had been in the best down filled bag. The other guys with me were miserable, and had been up most the night. This thing didn't rip and was very quiet..............................................
Just placed an order for 4 more for the guys that I hunt with for Christmas.................Felt sorry for them................................................

These things are great.
I feel these are an essential piece of survival gear for the weight and application. The price was also unbeatable, I put survival kits together for my friends and family this Christmas, and this item was a big hit.
Reflective sleeping bag
I haven't gotten to take it out for a spin yet but it's tougher than I thought it would be.... I am happy about the size, plenty of room for me because I hate being pinned in which is something that I was worried about.... anyways I plan on buying another one so that should say it all.
