will NOT fit MAADI
I was prepared for a little filing and fitting, but the gas tube on the Maadi is apparently shorter than other AK variants. The body part of the gas tube cover is too long (besides the lip on it). The lower piece did not fit either with some severe grinding. NOT FOR MAADI

WASR 10
This is a very nice product, and holds a zero on my WASR. The important thing to remember is to cut the pegs on the top handguard, because they don't allow it to be seated and aligned with the gas tube.
Secondly, when fitting on the gas tube, you will need to bend the front part of the gas tube on it's edge just a little bit with pliers. Then it moves with ease. Then just hammer it back down. Wallah.

Nice Product
This went onto my Bulgarian AK-74. Some minor trimming had to be done with a dremel to the top handguard to make it fit. But this was to be expected as I've done countless upgrades to various weapons with most aftermarket parts not fitting 100% out of the box. This is a great quality product and looks great as well.
