Very Misleading
Its a sturdy rod with excellent reel guides. However, the rod performs terrible in the "Hyper Glow" department. I set this rod out in the sun for a whole week and it didn't even glow for a second once it got pitch dark. I ultimately had to rely on the clip bells to alert me if there was a bite. I did get a 24" striper with this rod and it performed as it should, but I would never buy this rod again. False advertisement if you ask me. I suggest looking at the Zebco Hawg Seeker as an alternative alert system instead. Zebco Hawg Seeker Spinning Fishing Reel
