HiViz handgun sights have been redesigned. With an all-new square profile, sight picture acquisition time is reduced. Serrations on the rear of the sight base combine with a slightly recessed LitePipe to eliminate the "halo effect" common to many sights and increase the durability of the toughest LitePipes available. This new design is also more holster friendly.

Bright in daylight!
Installed this on my Walther PPQ. Nice and bright in direct sun or adequate artificial light. It will not enhance the sight picture in dim light. The case and enclosure seems to hold up well. Wish it came with changable light pipes. I prefer Green, and a smaller diameter. Altogether an easy install. Nice F/O sight.

Tried this out on my PPQ. As the other reviewer stated, it's not terribly bright (at least indoors). I think in an open air outdoor shooting environment, this would probably stand out very nicely. On the PPQ, I feel it sits a bit high. You don't need any specialty tool to install it. Simply remove the slide, pop the barrel out and take a 1.3mm or .05 inch (1.27mm) hex/allen wrench to remove the stock sight. Once you remove the hex screw you can pop out the PPQ front sight w/ a flat screw driver and a light tap of a hammer (having an extra person or vice is handy w/ this step). Once out, you can insert the new sight and tighten it down with a wee-tiny socket that you probably have in your collection and have never had a need to use (also common in those silly screw driver sets).
